This lace coat is has been rather an undertaking especially with several Christmas distractions! However, I have made a little progress! The coat has been sewn together, front back and sleeves…
The edging around the neck is complete and there is little left to do! The sleeves and hem need finishing and the fastenings are to go on, but the toughest part is over!
It has been a very challenging project, the pattern itself is simple but sewing with cotton lace is never easy. I have faith that the finished coat will be a thing of beauty..in the end! Until then..
